Everyone in the room sails the same voyage. The multiplier starts at 1.00x and climbs while the ship holds its course; the moment it goes down, every bet still on board is lost. You can run two bets at once and set either of them to take the money by itself, from 1.01x upwards. The round that just ended can be checked afterwards: the seed it was drawn from is published with the result.
